Chevron Australia identified gaps in their scheduling software as facilities entered operations, leading to workarounds that caused process divergence and inefficiencies. Due to these workarounds, our staff had to learn unique processes for each facility, a challenge shared across Chevron’s global operations. To address this, we are standardising asset management tools worldwide, with Prometheus Planning & Scheduling selected as the core maintenance scheduling solution. Here in the Australian Business Unit, along with our colleagues in the U.S. refineries, we are early adopters of Prometheus Web Scheduler, beginning our journey toward improved scheduling and global standardisation.
